When do I grow up?

When I was a kid, I would think I could touch the moon someday. The belief was at the peak especially those days when the moon appeared bigger than normal, so it was like 'wow, it's coming closer'. As I grew older, my fetish for touching the moon evaporated.

What I did not realize is that am still the same little kid in many ways. Just that the moon has been replaced by many other things.

In chasing moon we forget to smile.......... So have Big Smile and keep chasing moon after moon......

in chasing the moon we many atimes get the smaller pleasures attached to it....
the feeling of having it is a great driving force......

The little kid in us- the hopeful one- the one that hopes one day we'll get what we want, aware but ignoring the fact that there are going to be hindrances, maybe won't be possible to get what you want, still somewhere deep down longing to get what it wants!Everyone should have this little kid in them.. otherwise in the process of becoming socially acceptable, we kill ourself internally.. going against your will, only to do what is right practically, even if it means shattering your own dreams!Strange!

As we grow up the innocence evaporates and the materiality of this earth (greed, selfishness, jealousy etc.) gets deposited in our spirit.
