All shades of grey

Why are most of the relationships so complicated most of the times? None are ever in shades of white or black. They are all gray most times. Why does it take so much efforts to keep a relationship going? Why can it not be a simpler process? Does the presence of two different human beings make it such? Is it the expectations that kill the charm of a relationship? Or is it the lack of expectations beyond a point? Does all relationships go through swinging cycles of peaks and lulls? How difficult is to live without many relationships to entangle you? For that matter, do relationships not entangle you? If not always, most times? And those most times, don't they kill the joy of the few times it does not?
These are not mere questions. Mere musings.

If you know how to live those relations... I guess they won't be so complicated :P

I have very similar views about what u have written...
This is my personal experience that however hard I try to keep up and maintain the relationship, somewhere at some point in time I end up messing up in it...
Reason, really really I am unaware of...
It may be assumptions one makes that turn a relationship gray...
Another reason could be that we start taking the things for granted as pointed by U...
Reasons could be many but a very true saying about relationship rules... "Remember, we all stumble, every one of us. That's why it's a comfort to go hand in hand."

"...without tasting sour & bitter how would we know the pleasure of a sweet"
I mean, ups & downs are part of life, it's always that when we get apart from someone we come to know the importance of their presence, such is life & such are we...

well sir life cannot be lived in isolation.Relationships are a part and parcel of our lives. And if the question arises of maintaining them, then one needs to face all the hurdles across keeping one's egos aside. This fact should be realised by every individual to avoid themselves fall in a mess in their relationships...Life shall becum easy!!!

I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT FRIENDSHIP OR ANY RELATIONSHIP EXCEPT WITH PARENTS HAS DIMINISHING MARGINAL UTILITY.IF U MEET UR FRND AFTER A GAP OF 4 DAYS, U WILL BE EAGER TO TALK TO HIM AND IF U WILL BE WITH HIM 24*7, UR RELATIONSHIP WILL NOT BE AS GOOD AS IT USED TO BE.
